3. Students will be able to express their creativity through art, writing, and discussion.
4. Students will develop a sense of appreciation for their own uniqueness and creative abilities.

**Introduction (10 minutes):**
1. **Greeting and Prayer:** Welcome the students, ask them to settle down, and open the lesson with a short prayer asking for God’s guidance and creativity in the lesson.
2. **Warm-Up Activity:** Write the word "CREATIVE" on the board. Ask students to brainstorm things they can create or ways they can be creative (e.g., drawing, writing stories, building with blocks, making music). Write their ideas around the word on the board.
3. **Introduction to the Topic:** Explain that today’s lesson will focus on how God, our Creator, made the world and wants us to be creative too.
---
**Body (30 minutes):**
1. **Bible Reading and Discussion:**
- Read Genesis 1:1–31 aloud. Depending on the students’ reading level, you can let them take turns reading verses.
- Discuss the passage, highlighting the various aspects of God’s creation (light, sky, land, sea, plants, animals, and humans).
- Ask: “Why do you think God created such a variety of things?” and “What does this tell us about God?”
2. **Creative Reflection:**
- Share with the students that being created in God’s image also means we inherit some of His characteristics, like creativity.
- Ask, “How can we use our creativity to honor God?”
3. **Creative Activity:**
- Split students into small groups and give each group chart paper and markers.
- Each group will create a mural that reflects a part of the Creation story.
- Alternatively, students can individually draw their favorite part of the Creation story.
- Encourage them to be as creative and colorful as they want.
4. **Showing Artwork:** Have each group or individual present and explain their artwork to the class.
---
**Conclusion (10 minutes):**
1. **Recap and Reflect:** Summarize the key points of the lesson: God is a creative God, and He made us to be creative too.
2. **Personal Application:** Ask the students to think of one way they can use their creativity this week. Share a few responses.
3. **Closing Prayer:** Thank God for His creation and ask Him to help the students use their talents and creativity to bring glory to Him.
4. **Home Assignment:** Ask students to create something at home (a drawing, poem, story, or craft) that represents how they see God's creativity in the world. They can bring it to the next class to share.
---
**Additional Activities:**
1. **Story Time:** Read a storybook version of the Creation story if time permits.
2. **Creative Worship:** Play some music and allow students to reflect quietly or draw during the worship time.
---
**Note to Teacher:**
- Ensure that all students are engaged and feel valued regardless of their artistic abilities.
- Encourage respect and positive feedback during presentations.
- Be flexible and adjust the activities based on the dynamics of your class.
